Eleni Skevaki is now a doctoral student at EPFL in the department of Architecture and Sciences of the City. She is also a doctoral assistant at the Laboratory for Creative Computation.
She was a Research Assistant at the chair of Digital Building Technologies for several years, Institute of Technology In Architecture (ITA) of ETH Zurich, working on Digital Concrete Printing.
She received her Diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens and has also studied in ENSA Paris Malaquais before starting the MAS in Architecture and Digital Fabrication in ETH. She had previously gained experience in different architecture practices such as Metaform (Luxembourg), Robofold (UK) and Arrodesign (Vermont,USA). During her studies in Zurich, she was part of the design and materialization of a robotically fabricated pavilion for Victoria & Albert museum in Dundee, Scotland as well as a series of 3d-concrete extruded columns. The latter shaped her current focus on concrete extrusion.
