Rena Giesecke (Dr. sc. ETH) is the Senior Business Development and Project Manager at the Belimo Climate Foundation, where she drives the implementation of low-carbon building projects and expands the foundation’s impact through strategic partnerships, knowledge transfer, and high-impact communications.

Previously, as Program Engagement Manager at the Holcim Foundation, she directed the strategy for a global network of experts and developed the foundation’s content strategy to position it as a leading voice in international sustainable construction.

An architect by training, her expertise is grounded in high-level research at ETH Zurich, where she was an ITA Doctoral Fellow at the Chair of Digital Building Technologies, developing pioneering solutions in additive manufacturing and digital fabrication to integrate emerging technologies into the construction sector.

In dieser Funktion treibt sie die Dekarbonisierung von Bauprojekten voran und baut den Impact der Stiftung durch strategische Partnerschaften, Wissenstransfer und wirkungsvolle Kommunikation kontinuierlich aus.

Zuvor steuerte sie als Program Engagement Manager bei der Holcim Foundation die Strategie für ein globales Expertennetzwerk und entwickelte die Content-Strategie der Stiftung, um diese als führende Stimme im internationalen nachhaltigen Bauen zu positionieren.
