Qiming is a researcher and designer working at the material efficiency, fabrication technologies, and sustainable design. She is a doctoral researcher at the chair of Digital Building Technologies (DBT), Institute of Technology In Architecture (ITA) at the Department of Architecture of ETH Zurich.

Qiming received a Bachelor in Architecture from Sichuan University, and later a Master of Science from Tianjin University. Prior to joining DBT, she explored building loop potential, and climate responsive sustainable design. She was the main manager of Solar Decathlon China Tianjin team U+ and a researcher of China National Key Research Project, Green building and Industry, Performance Oriented Green Building Design Method and Tools.
