Jiaqian Wu is a PhD researcher at the chair of Digital Building Technologies (dbt) at the Institute of Technology in Architecture (ITA) at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich. Her current research focuses on the interpretation and integration between architectural attributes and assessments, involving data representation and inverse modelling.
She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Institute of Architectural Algorithms & Applications (Inst. AAA) and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Southeast University, where she developed an interest in computational design. Prior to joining dbt, she explored generative approaches to architectural layouts and integrated design strategies, and was awarded funding from the China Scholarship Council and the Postgraduate Research & Practice Innovation Program of Jiangsu Province.
